What does this mean? Well, if you are new to our group, this is where you can sign up to monitor our games from any web browser be it on your mobile device or desktop. If you are a regular, you may want to sign up for this and stop using your happytc account.

We will still keep our Twitter and Facebook accounts for game on announcements and sharing.

I was going to clean up the members on happytc but I decided instead to research mobile based solutions that could replace it. I believe this app can replace happytc and get us better engaged with up to the second RSVPs and be better able to respond to field changes and such.

Happytc is flash based and thus makes it hard to use with a mobile device. A simple web app bookmark can now be placed on the home screen of your iOS or Android device and you will receive instant push notifications to your phone. Because this app is set up this way, I’ve decided to remove reminders for games and instead limit communication to changes, surveys, cancellations, etc. Yay! No more emails! If you don’t want it. Now if you don’t want emails at all with TeamApp, you could filter all your emails from TeamApp to trash (in case some are sent to you) because everything will be accessible from the app and/or push notifications. Trash deletes in 30 days if you use a service like gmail in any case.

You can also flip it and turn off the app’s notifications and you will only get emails. You will have to keep checking the app if you want to be in the loop, however.

Download TeamApp, search for “burbank pickup” and take a look. I have games already logged until Dec 10 2017.
